1. Go to the Museum of Flight page (click here) and browse through the aircraft designs. 2. Pick one aircraft for your focus project. 3. Make a slide for each of these topics. Each slide should have illustrations and text on it. Title slide Picture of your aircraft with parts labeled. A slide that describes what this aircraft is used for. A slide that describes the top speed and altitude for this aircraft. A slide that explains which company makes this aircraft and when was it designed. A slide with additional pictures and bonus information about your aircraft. 4. You can add additional slides for more points. 5. If you are done early, you make work on your flight training or paper aircraft designs.
1. Watch instructional video about claim and evidence. 2. Title slide #3 "Claim and Evidence" 3. Using your experiment results from last time (hearing test), make a claim about YOUR results. example #1 - Boys can hear higher frequencies than girls. example #2 - Adults can hear lower frequencies than kids. 4. After writing your claim, make a sentence that shows your evidence. example #1 - Jack and David could hear up to 17k and Sophie and Amy could hear up to 14k example #2 - Both of my parents could hear below 150hz and the kids could only hear above 200hz 5. Make your slide look nice (your choice on how) 5. Watch the new animal of the day video.
1. Watch the instructional video. 2. On slide #12, we are going to write our Hypothesis and our experiment steps. 3. Write down one sentence that is your guess of what will happen in your experiment. (example- I think that the plane with small wings will go farther) 4. Write down the steps of your experiment (example) Make the Hollinger super dart airplane Make the Dr. Grumble wide wing plane Measure how wide the wings are with a ruler and write it down Fly each plane 3 times from the same location Measure where they land Write this all down 5. You can add a picture if you want as well but the words are most important today. 6. Don't forget to check out the new Animal of the Day video.
